The Dark Theme is almost perfect on Android, they need to adjust some icons (for example double ticks) and it's ready (but it doesn't mean that it'll be immediately released). They have recently implemented a Default Dark Wallpaper, that was probably one of the last things to do.

ANNOUNCEMENT: You can no longer send videos to WhatsApp Status if they are longer than 16 seconds: only videos having a duration of 15 seconds will be allowed. This is happening in India and it's probably an initiative to reduce the traffic on the server infrastructures.
