This is the same America that: • Put Asians in cages • Destroyed the global south • Toppled and plundered peaceful nations • Put kids in cages • Decided that enslaving humans wasn't enough, they had to trim their hair off and shove it into chairs • Commited Genocide
The Same America that: • Betrayed its treaties • Supported Nazis • Paid for right-wing uprisings • Destroyed the environment for profit • Had to come up with code so people wouldn't eat sandlewood • Started a forever war based on a lie.
The selfsame America that: • Allowed its citizenry to suffer in a pandemic. • Lied about a pandemic. • Attacked peaceful protestors. • Bombed black neighborhoods that desired liberation.
They used to make post-cards about how you should visit towns with lynched black people as a fucking calling card and you want to tell me that this has never been America?
You want to look me dead in the eye and tell me the same country that absolutely destroyed vietnam with agent orange is a kind, empathetic, charitable and compassionate nateion?
