California should implement a siesta system this heat is only going to get worse and we can’t keep expecting people to work in the sun at noon anymore. Take the example set by nearly every other country that deals with extreme heat and implement a siesta

One of the laws suggested or passed two years ago, was that businesses are allowed to stay open until midnight to account for the heat, with city permission. If I remember right, it was written or endorsed by Weiner?

Desalination won't work, because it creates a brine which kills off sealife down current from outlet pipe. Either salt has to be captured to be sold, or we have to move to getting water from humidity; other than

Our plan is to create a California salt company and then extract and refine the salt for sale at or below cost. Technical challenges remain, but the fact is we will need water supply soon as the West continues to dry out. The
#ClimateCrisis will create many hard choices.
