I'll likely vote "no" and @Vote_CNP Not sure CA secession makes sense any time soon. But California is getting fucked over in all sorts of undemocratic ways--see today's example of filibuster and the pathetic US Senate--and I think we should find ways to act more autonomously.https://twitter.com/Vote_CNP/status/1407028354851610645 …
Another path is the utter collapse of the US, as seems likely as we watch the government of the US lurch between fascism (Trump's GOP) and corporate kleptocracy (Biden's Dems) while becoming ever less able to govern. Either path leads to a CA breakaway which feels inevitable TBH.

Given the power of the MIC and the surveillance state, I see a collapse farther off into the future, after much bloodshed, but it is certainly a real possibility.

It will be driven by ecological collapse. The heat will cause crop failures & sea rise at an ever increasing pace. Eventually the center won't be able to hold. The entire status quo global geopolitical and economic system is going to fall apart.https://www.desmog.com/2021/04/12/methane-emissions-spiked-in-2020-scientists-fear-feedback-loops/ …
