Yes. We absolutely do. We won't get it by voting, either.

Very little ever does. Voting tends to be more of a harm mitigation strategy. That said, we do have faith in the California electoral process and encourage everyone in CA to register to vote California National Party. Obviously if we get traction, it will be a new world for CA.

We need to get rid of nation states, not create more.

Alternatively, we need to pull apart a permanent war machine that oppresses millions around the world & many of the people inside its borders as soon as possible to minimize the terrible harm it causes to the world. You try to solve things your way, and we'll try ours.

Taking CA out of the US actually does a lot more damage to the people in the other 46 states who depend on tax revenue from CA, NY, NJ, and TX. People inside the US borders would suffer more because of it.

The best possible outcome is to break up the US into smaller republics that 1) actually share a culture internally 2) are democratic and 3) Lack the funds to maintain America's global empire and permanent wars. This is America.https://www.commondreams.org/views/2019/04/18/jimmy-carter-us-most-warlike-nation-history-world …

Right now blue states prop up apartheid in the South and we pay for global endless war abroad and police oppression at home with our Federal Taxes. That's blood on our hands. There is no easy way out of that. But we have a moral responsibility to try.

Exiting the union wouldn't solve that problem, it would only exacerbate it. It would also kill CA citizens in poor parts of the state. Leaving the union has the same outcome as splitting the state into 4 parts.

Letting us keep our own money actually means we would have more money to take care of our own people. We rob our people to prop up an apartheid system in the South that might collapse but for our Federal Taxes. The US sustains and maintains oppression, it does not lessen it.

We would need to transition the state into a socialist system first in order to obtain that wealth and give it to the people before that could happen. If we sucede, the billionaires would rule. If the state voted to end private property, the feds would nuke us into the stone age.

Billionaires rule now. You are threatening us with the status quo.

I am advocating for California to transition to a socialist state free of billionaires, and if that leads to the state exiting the union so be it. Your group seems to be advocating for seceding from the union as a first step. How does that get rid of the billionaires?
