For reference I can't find a dedicated Cascadia account with more than a couple thousand followers, and it's considered one of the more "active" (used loosely) movements in the UShttps://twitter.com/PopulismUpdates/status/1311189685805281285 …

For any folks who are afraid California or Cascadia leaving is going to tilt the US empire to the right, there is one place that is ahead of all of us by your metrics though on FB and not twitter. Their views don't align with ours, but they are big. https://www.facebook.com/texasnatmov

Facebook can be extremely effective too, though I think the dynamics are a bit different (maybe because it's more siloed). I actually hadn't heard of that page, but they seem to at least be pretty active

A page like that I would say has huge potential because they now have a base to be able to fine-tune their messaging and grow even more. They're also big enough to credibly organize and actually run and promote candidates

I think that used to be true, but after 2016 they have put in a lot of controls to protect the status quo on all of the big social media platforms.

Look that's definitely possible, especially as some of the separatist stuff in the US was tied to Russian activity circa 2016, but I would also say that really effective messaging emphasizes qualities like "fun" and "excitement" to break through these barriers

Monday night quarterbacking is always a lot easier than game day. But for the most part, we agree. Californians in particular are drawn to optimism. Pitching an exciting new possibility and not just highlighting what a dumpster fire the corrupt and broken
#DC swamp is etc.1 vastaus 0 uudelleentwiittausta 0 tykkäystä
But we also feel like we'll have to build our own megaphones. The social media platforms have adopted too many controls to protect the status quo and the status quo will never give you the tools to dismantle it. That's why I highlighted the TX radio station approach.
