Russian aggression is a real threat, just like the US, yes were liberal, but why would that stop Russia?

Russia has limited foreign policy goals, mostly in Eastern Europe. Expanding NATO into Poland, the Baltics, broke a promise the US made to Gorbachev. Russia retaliated when US, NATO moved into their backyard. Does CA need to be involved in E.Europe?

And let them all kno that military and economic alliances should be separate and that we will not be coerced into joining both.

I bet this is a debacle that the CNP fixes with a weak "We'll be Neutral" but that'll be hard in this day and age, Sweden and Switzerland have been doing it for centuries while were new

Maybe they can give us some pointers. Maybe we can take a page from their book to put in our platform like we have from our Scottish friends when building our Party. Idk I think the debacle isn't so much that we or the platform is weak, it's not bad but it needs some expansion.

That I think we can agree upon. I mean what is the consensus of others in your group on how we might expand on it? The
@Vote_CNP and@CnpYouth is always looking to make our image and platform better. We might also be able to start doing conference calls on this.1 vastaus 0 uudelleentwiittausta 1 tykkäys -

I agree, the only reason I worry about this is because Russia interferes with everyone, including peaceful nations if the outcome doesn't suit them, and China is a snake that slithers its influence into everywhere, plus North Korea would be our problem as well.

I think this can give us a better vantage point on dealing with the DPRK. However, I also see the point in defending ourselves from them, the US or anyone else. China and NK are not going to invade. It's just not in the Marxist nature to do so. I speak as a Marxist myself.

Believe me, we need plans to deal with any threat, but I dont want the DPRK having any relation with us, that would ruin our image.

I didn't say relations I said they have a right to their sovereignty and development. Most nations have Consulates or some form of place for North Korean ambassadors. The UK, Mexico, just to name a few. They don't have official relations with NK but they are at least cordial.

North Korea is a brutal dictatorship. Hopefully, the Koreas can re-unite toward a democratic and mutually beneficial future. There has been some progress on that recently. That would be the best outcome for the people of North Korea at this point.
