Democrats wanted to keep federal unemployment relief during the pandemic at $600/week. Republicans wanted it cut to $250/week. The GOP controlled Senate refuses to move on a bill while millions suffer.
Congress should have done better to provide pandemic relief, instead @ElissaSlotkin and Pelosi tried to force checks for illegal immigrants and release criminals from prison. We deserve better!
