A reminder that when survivors of Black Wall Street testified before committee, Owens didn’t bother to show up. He not only ditched the hearing, his social media consultant tweeted out a tweet about CRT. Ask Owens if those survivors should be compensated. #utpol

O.W. Gurley was born in 1868 in Huntsville, Alabama. Over the course of his life he was a teacher, postal worker, homesteader, entrepreneur, community leader, and church founder. He was one of the wealthiest Black men in Oklahoma and a founder of Tulsa’s "Black Wall Street."

everything Connelly stood against. It appears this person has done the same with Erace. The original Erace is an anti-racism organization started in 1993 in Louisiana. This person adds -d to the end thus turns it into a hateful bigoted anti-black organization masquerading as,

Black radical conservatives love to ‘hijack’ phrases from those they later ridicule. Blexit was first coined by a Black woman named Me’Lea Connelly. It began as a movement that encouraged African Americans to ditch traditional banking. Candace Owens grabbed it and it became

Don’t think I’ve changed a bit. 😜😍 I wouldn’t do high school again if you paid me. Nope. But, my track and field days created some good memories. And a strong body. #girlathlete

Dang it. I mistaken chocolate chips for raisins and put them in my oatmeal. Chocolate is wonderful. But, there are some foods it does not belong. Oatmeal is one of them. I tried. This wrong can’t be righted. I’m done with this.

I know someone who works with adults pursuing a GED. One student who’d dropped out of high school and got a job is in her program because in order to get a promotion on his job, he must have at least a GED. He’s taken it 3 times without success. If he gives up, he’s stuck.

Historically, that’s not the case. It keeps people fed, but not out of poverty. For many in disadvantaged communities working at a young age is a matter of survival. What suffers is their education, which is the number 1 contributor to intergenerational poverty. #utpol

Utah has the 2nd highest workforce participation rate in the country among teens ages 16-19. This is a good thing and I’m proud that all my kids have been counted in that statistic. Learning to work at a young age is one of the secrets to our state’s success and upward mobility. twitter.com/sltrib/status/…

The response to this is, ‘there are no min. wage workers.’ There are quite a few in the $8-$10. The state had the 47th worst minimum wage-to-cost-of-living ratio. Utah's $7.25 minimum wage, covers less 20% of the cost of living. UT ranks 45th for conditions and gender pay gap.

This is a lie. The FBI is known to be extremely conservative organization. Mueller, Comey, and Wray are all conservatives. Justice is blindfolded because it is unbiased and should not be based on a person's appearance or other outside influences. The Rule of Law applies to all.

The FBI is intimidating brave whistleblowers who are sticking out their necks to tell the truth. This isn't just a few bad apples in the Bureau. This is a cultural rot.

. Ate you aware that some Holocaust survivors still receive reparations? That Japanese-Americans received reparations from the Internment? Were you aware that slaveowners in DC received compensation emancipation after freeing slaves?
Quote Tweet
Shocking that those proposing this don’t realize how utterly unrealistic this is. Having a worldview where this is a even a consideration is absolutely outside reality. Lots of groups experienced abhorrent wrongs historically but in no way are reparations justified today. twitter.com/tvheidihatch/s…

Got tagged on Facebook about the grave marker for Elijah Able being knocked over at the SLC Cemetery. We can only speculate as to how it ended it off its base. Elijah Abel was the first (of about eight) Black American men to receive LDS priesthood before Brigham Young instituted

There are a few things wrong with this. First, Congress amended the ‘Perimeter Rule’, which is what is referencing, in 1980. That amendment allowed 8 cities > 1250 miles away to have nonstop service to DCA. Salt Lake City was one of them👇🏾, Atlanta, GA #utpol
