. And sorry but reverting back to whatever tax rate pays our bills is not socialism. Our economy did just fine with higher tax rates on top income brackets.
The reason why the economy did so well was because most of the world was using us as their industrial economic center because they were rebuilding theirs, rebuilding their population and recovering. When they had, you get the 70's. Your lack of historical knowledge is sad.

At issue is whether the very top tax brackets can pay higher rates, and it is based on fact that they have ultra high incomes. They did well in the 50s and they are doing well now. In fact income disparities higher than ever. Nice try though!

Didn't learn your lesson. The reason why they did well was because we were the world's grocery store in the 50s leading into the 60s. The top tax bracket could handle it because there was so much. Regardless Socialism is going to tax Everyone high crippling taxes.
