There are also those that WISH I would have disappeared after losing. All I have to say is...brace yourself for continued disappointment because i have no plans to stop caring

I’m shocked at how many people say “thanks for sticking around after your election.”
It makes me sad that this isn’t...normal.
It is unusual that people run because they care? And they still care if they lose?

The opposite is also true. Some folks are not visible or active in their communities until they become candidates. Ugh!

In general I wish there was more uplifting of community advocates and activists who do the hard work! I had a short docu series
@RevealObvious to highlight community members but ended up getting REALLY invested in helping the garden we highlighted and the series got set aside

I get this all of the time. Can't tell you how many times I had to assure people I would stay involved regardless of the election’s outcome.
