Where she worked doesn't mean she "advocated" for it, the same way that I've worked for a make-up company means I advocate for make-up.
It was actually a privilege that I was able to take that stance.I could lose my job and had another part time opportunity lined up so that I could feed myself during my campaign. Expecting everyone to do the same in an economic crisis is ignorant of working class struggles.

Tell me about it. When I came out as an openly gay teacher, the school board tried to fire me numerous times. That was 17 years before I ran for Council. She’s running for public office. She must, if she is progressive & courageous, speak out about her own school & charters.
