Imo, no candidate should be turned away from an endorsement due to their age. As Shawna said, policy platform should be critical to endorsement. Maybe viability as well?
I’ve never known DSA not to center policy platform in their endorsements.
Can confirm I was never asked my age by DSA for any purposes

I can confirm that it happened to two Latino candidates that are over 45. Both were too old to be progressive.

I’ve *never* heard of a comrad being told they’re “too old to be progressive”- I mean, we enthusiastically backed an 87 year old for president. It’s just a situation that doesn’t seem realistic, in light of multiple Gen X DSA candidates also being endorsed, as well.
