There are no good cops because ‘good cops’ would quit their fascist profession.

Remember that when you’re calling them when someone is breaking into your house or trying to rape you etc. Can’t just abolish everything.

When my car was broken into they laughed at me. But cool story, bro.

I’ve been punched in the park, flagged down cops and they told my attacker not to do it again. I know how this story goes.

Called cops after my house was robbed, and the cop *literally* said that I “shouldn’t be living so close to US1” (on the edge of a poorer neighborhood)... and then never heard from them again.

Neighbor called for a man trespassing on her property and looking through windows. Overheard responding officer say to his partner "well she's a pretty girl, probably just wanted to say hi". Two weeks later he got in her house with a machete & raped her.

Week before that he was probably the guy who robbed us. We believe while my wife was in the house with our infant son. Called the cops then too. Turns out he was out on parole staying at cousin's house behind us. Simple fingerprinting would have sorted things & spared my neighbor

We need to abandon idea that police are our protectors and invest in systems that strengthen communities and creates conditions that make crime less likely in the first place.
