They can say “at least x amount depending on experience” or something. I’ve actually seen this done and think it’s great. If they list what is budgeted and you require way more, you wouldn’t waste your time applying as an applicant
Yeah. That's how it's usually done. Give a salary range. I dunno what kind of jobs you're applying for so I can't comment, but I usually see salary ranges on most job sites. If there's no range it's either the budget or they don't really intend to hire but get a sense of the $
