Both with job interviews and with dates, I just want an honest answer, not the old "we'll call you" spiel. It hurts more being ghosted than it does to just hear they're not interested.

I also shouldn’t have to follow up to check if you got my application. Acknowledge it. Takes a lot of time to prep a resume/portfolio etc. Takes 15 seconds to say “Thank you for your interest” It’s literally the least they can do.

I prefer a law stating that companies WILL state WHY you were rejected, offer an appeal and suggestions how to improve. Also an applicant can bring as many friends as they are expect the corporation to send into interview. Fair is fair.
