I remember a moment in my life when (I think it was a baseball team) who had been discouraged from taking part in a game, and then just started playing relearning to have fun Its my favorite 9/11 humanity story. Politics have pushed the Patriot Act rather than recovery stories.
Today we remember the lives lost on 9/11 and the terror it caused for survivors following this day. As if this wasn’t enough, these terrorist attacks were used by people in power as an excuse for war and xenophobia. Honor those lost by spreading love, not hate. Peace, not war.
