My MetroCard ran out today and the machine at a station wasn't accepting cards. I didn't have cash. A couple of cops were standing right there. I asked them if they'd give me shit if I jumped the turnstile. "Did you rob a bank? Shoot someone? Then no."

or pay a $2 fee in addition to whatever your bank charges at some random, dank ATM with a cat sleeping on it to then pay $2.75? -
