Ok I feel very understood here! Midsommar disturbed me for a few days but I realized after I got over it that it was brilliant. Will add the rest to my list!
Midsommar wasn’t great, but predictable.
Oh the Lighthouse was also incredible. Highly recommend watching it as well once you've seen the Witch.

i watched midsommar when i was incredibly tired and drifting in and out of sleep while trying to stay awake because i was at the theater. i still don’t know if that improved the experience or not, remembering that movie is like a fever dream.

the endless/resolution, the pact, the possession (1981), dark skies, diabolical, under the skin, the woods, dead end (big plus for excellent acting) less gore, more existential/supernatural strangeness.
watch resolution before the endless. they're strange as hell, really unique. the pact is mostly a ghost story, so it's diabolical. possession- incredible acting. doppelgangers. stasi. really weird. dark skies and under the skin aren't supernatural but are really weird, not gory
