My wife works at a school on the upper east side. I'm incredibly worried - not so much about the school itself, but the 1.5 hour subway ride each way - how the hell can NYC even think about reopening schools and packing subways full of kids & faculty?
I’m so worried about all of the educators, children, school employees and families with children as our irresponsible government pushes for kids to go back to school while everyone in direct contact with the president has to get a #COVID19 daily.
What a stark divide.

My son has autism...
. I met this kid two yrs ago not knowing anything about being a parent but he picked me right away and I never had a second thought about parenting choices after that. Until now. I literally have no idea what the right choice is between risk and regression -

It’s an impossible situation. I can’t afford to pay my babysitter $17/hr while I go to work and make less then half of what o was making before (probably closer to 25%). I also can’t afford to have the few clients I have coming back find another colorist, and start from scratch.

I’m terrified for my kid, her classmates and their teachers, but can’t afford to stay home. It’s such a shitty situation.

My sister has had cancer twice. She is a teacher at an independent school. The school wants her to come in and teach. Another reason I gave myself my Twitter handle. I hate this world.
