It’s been one week since @_michaelbrooks passed away and I’ve been thinking a lot. One of my most recurring thoughts is that *the* most valuable thing any of us can give to anyone, or to any movement, is our time.

He had a finite amount of time to spread his message and thoughts, but the truth is we all do. I gave 1.5 years of my life running for #NY12 and I have zero regrets (only things I’d do better!) because we helped change the narrative and are still fighting for our neighbors!

Time matters more than money. Time matters more than power. It doesn’t matter if you’re a citizen or resident or rich or poor. While we are alive, we all have time. And together when we fight, we are unstoppable.
