So true. They buy consent, through ways that most people can't even see the tip of the iceberg, ie media ownership, think tanks, etc
The idea that any of us can work hard and become a billionaire is dangerous propoganda. Struggling Americans stand up for the rights of billionaires to pay less taxes than us because of this “dream”. The fact that we can have our basic needs met by our government is just a fact.

If I ever became a billionaire, I would happily pay a gigantic tax bill. Then go back to using my fortune to destroy the meat industry. Which is probably why I'll never be a billionaire. Wrong priorities
