People shouldn't have to pay a single penny until their basic needs are met. And the fact that huge corporations and the wealthiest Americans pay less than people struggling to pay their rent is horrifying.

Tax day is really difficult for so many families. Families still living off of the $1200 from March, being asked to pay their federal, state and local government money by midnight tonight. It's actually disgusting.

The US is a nation that is cruel to their citizens. I am not proud to be an American anymore. A few days ago I changed my political party to Independent. I have been a Democrat for 45 yrs; however, I am more progressive than the Democratic Party now.
