I’ve personally spoken with many people who have said they’re on the fence between Biden and a 3rd party and will vote for him if he adopts #m4a. If I have that knowledge I feel I’m hurting him by not saying it out loud.

I think you might be hurting the country by not encouraging those people to see the greater good and that MFA shouldn't be a dealbreaker given the stakes. You have much more influence over those people than Biden. And the majority of voters voted for him knowing his position.
I have more influence over people than Biden? Damn. Isn’t that the problem? He should be building relationships with the working people of this country and listening to what they need.
Biden has been much better about reaching out than Hillary, who dismissed and insulted us. Yet I still voted for her because I understood the danger of what we faced.
W/ respect, Lauren, b/c I generally believe in fighting as hard as we can for change, I think it could be arrogant to stick so much to your ideals you don't do everything you can to avoid a true dictatorship. It really, sadly, is that simple. Do we want to avoid that or not?
