Something can be a human right, while also being fully subsidized with a public option to provide universal coverage. Demonizing allies and issuing ultimatums of ideological purity feels good but is unhelpful.
I have zero pity for politicians who are asked to do the right thing. If asking for universal healthcare hurts the feelings of the former VP of this country then I have a lot of questions. I know.
