Please look into Lauren Ashcraft's campaign. And notice what Suraj Patel said about #MedicareForAll in the Indivisble debate. He seemed way too eager to back down and settle for something less. Lauren would become a new member of the Squad. Patel isn't that kind of politician.

I got her campaign text. I never heard of her. It was all innuendo re:Suraj & didn’t say 1 thing she did. I then told an Ashcraft campaign caller it was a poor 1st impression: Yeah, that’s the autoresponse. She obv didn’t pay attn to messaging & she wants to be my rep? Part 1

2/the vote will be split & Maloney will win again. Is that we want? He’s an ethics lawyer. We need someone like him. He worked for Barack. Even the Ashcraft’s campaign caller couldn’t give me any accomplishments of hers.

3/And the JP Morgan job freaks me out a bit. Yeah, I believe the same things she does & that’s what I hear from the campaign but I feel uncomfortable about her background. And progressives shouldn’t be slinging innuendo in their campaigns against fellow progressives

4/I want to back a candidate that shares my values. Splitting the vote so Maloney wins is not my value/neither is the mudslinging. I want to vote for female candidates and was interested & to hear about her but this turned me off. So tell me specifics please if you have them

5/as even my activist friend after I asked him today could only just say she had some endorsements but was voting for her without knowing why I should. I keep asking and not getting a straight answer. Would love to hear one as I want to be well informed

I voted for Patel in 2018 because he was the only alternative to Maloney then. But the catfishing incident did give me pause. Now that we have two other candidates who are Democrati Socialists, I can’t justify supporting him.

Hi! I’m happy to talk about my accomplishments and answer any questions you have about my platform. My first full-time job was at HUD where I got to see federal housing policy in effect and all of the holes we have in our safety net. Thereafter I worked for a nonprofit that

Built affordable housing for people on the verge of homelessness, so I have a passion for abolishing homelessness at the federal level. Since I’ve lived in NYC, I have held jobs in two different financial institutions, MetLife and JPMC as a project manager.

Quite frankly the work was unfulfilling during a time that I was seeing the harm that capitalism was causing in our society and politics. Until I could quit, I found fulfillment in fighting back by helping to organize the women’s march on NYC, and using my comedy to

recruit volunteers and fundraising for nonprofits that are fighting for our community. I’m thankful I could finally quit. My platform is based on fighting the inequality ive seen and experienced, and that people like my family have lived due to corporate influence on our politics
