I paid $900 a month for a place. Our plugs liked to catch on fire. Our heat went out and it took a month for our landlord to come fix it. Our oven broke all the time. Leaks everywhere. If we were late on rent, the landlord gave us a 5 day pay or quit notice. 1/

We lost the place in April because I lost my job due to covid. My family was lucky enough to have family members to take us in but many don’t. We pay our rent and get abused by our land owners. We need justice for tennants. I have 2 kids that had to endure all of that.
