Today someone told me I need to act and sound more like a man if I want to win. To all the young women and non-binary people thinking of running for office, just know we need you *exactly as you are* to represent and fight for the change we need at all levels of government.

Do not be polite to your enemies. Show them an inch of kindness and they will take everything from you. In politics you have to play dirty most times and it sucks. People who play dirty can have some empathy too, depends. Being nice to your enemies really hurts the challenger.
