Ah, to be a grassroots candidate. My team and I have proudly worked *so* hard, gotten dozens of endorsements, lost count of podcasts & shows, grown the largest social media community in the race, been featured in dozens of articles, have the most volunteers THREAD
have the most small dollars raised in the race, make 1000-2000 calls per day to neighbors, are sending out multiple mailers to our universe, and you haven’t even seen the best of us yet. But political pundits and MSM keep questioning our viability.
Is it bc my opponents have fewer but maxed out donors? Is it because I can’t loan myself 100k or personally absorb 300k of my previous campaign’s debt? Is that how we measure viability?
I’m not sorry. We have raised 6 figures one small donation at a time. I’m accountable to the working people of my district, not corporations, not maxed out personal connects. Thank you for honoring me in trusting me to fight for YOU.
