This is why representation matters. @amyklobuchar declined to bring charges against #derekchauvin when he shot and killed a Native American man. Had anyone taken Derek’s record seriously, #GeorgeFloyd would still be alive.

Rather than "representation" we should be focusing on "ideology". There are plenty of instances in which ppl belonging to the same in-group perpetuate the systems that affect said group. Case and point: C*pmala.

Just to clarify I mean the word representation as actually representing us, the people. Which is very different from a politician.
