The “there’s a republican Senate” argument for why we can’t get anything done is a lie. Plenty of bills originating in the House start off with corporate-approved compromise. You don’t ask for $1 if what you NEED is $1.50. I’m sick of excuses. We need representatives who care.

How about that time democrats controlled the house, senate and the White House and the most progressive idea on healthcare reform was a public option ACA saved lives YES. For that I am thankful. But it still leaves millions to avoid going to the doctor for fear of medical debt.
