On this Memorial Day, we honor and remember all who lost their lives serving our country. We need to actively stand up against endless wars. Our leaders keep voting for war and increasing the budgets for defense contractors and weapons manufacturers so they can profit. THREAD
Increasing the military budget has not increased military pay. Many who serve in the military live in poverty during and after their service. Many come home and have no home. Many suffer from PTSD from horrors witnessed in war.
