I really can’t explain it. In other countries, it’s unspeakable to put others, especially elders at risk. It’s also normalized to wear masks. And their leaders don’t tell them it’s a hoax, then tell them to inject disinfectant, and try out some malaria medication. JFC.

I just stay home. I have asthma & I'm 7 months pregnant so the masks make things worse for me. I can't have it on long. But when I go to my dr appointments I wear it one. If it's requested, I don't argue. I want others to feel safe.
It's not just a mask. Alyssa Milano was wearing a crochet mask. It has to be an N95 to be safe. One of the problems which makes this so difficult is the poor information. The "mask" has become a symbol of solidarity, not safety.
