To me the March wasn’t about hats (which i actually advised people not to wear) or brunch, but it’s about having one day per year surrounded by people who think you matter. I can’t count the number of women who were inspired to run for office after participating, myself included.
Now, I’m all for discussing the Women’s March, where I’ve had some disagreements and my vision for intersectional gender justice, but I will correct falsehoods.
