UBI would help. Might not get people into the Ritz, but would sure be better than sleeping in the subway. We have plenty of productive capacity for everyone, the problem is people don’t have money because productivity growth made their labor less necessary in the modern economy

Even better, when will they fund supporting the homeless community we can rely on the benevolence of private businesses. We need to push for legislation to provide, housing, work, health services (mental included), dignity to our misfortune and preyed upon peers.
