What's also troubling is that people don't want to go to the hospital if they need medical treatment for anything non virus related because they don't want to get the virus. It's not like we have two hospitals or that there is any failsafe.

I was laid off at the beginning of this nightmare, so, I only have the V.A. to depend on, so, if I get sick I'll probably die. I don't know what will happen to my now uninsured son.

Not really denied, but I went to do a Telemedicine appointment through Aetna about 3 weeks ago. You couldn't make an appointment for a later time. So, I literally kept my name on the waitlist overnight, for about 18 hours before I gave up.

No, I did not need anything. But I'm from Slovenia where the healthcare system established in the past still holds to certain extent against neoliberal plunder. My wife was just called by the ophtalmologist for examination. Free of charge.

It happened to my daughter, mid March. She was ill with symptoms totally consistent with Covid 19, but was told to stay home, & call back if her breathing became difficult. She couldn’t be tested, not having traveled by air, or been in contact with a confirmed case.
