What I can’t stand about means testing is it is purposely excludes cities like New York from help. $1200 doesn’t cover @&$% here. $75k or even $100k cutoffs exclude many who are struggling to pay rent and put kids through college. New Yorkers need help.

Then why is your city minimum wage equal to $31,200 if people making 250% of that can’t get by in your city?
Could it be that minimum wage isn’t enough to survive? And many of our elected officials have been okay with that?
