I have spoken with caretakers being sent to work without masks because they don't have access to any. There are so many examples of how this administration is failing our most vulnerable people by putting them at risk.https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/08/nyregion/coronavirus-disabilities-group-homes.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur&fbclid=IwAR2L7WFe56sD9fhuhyktxg0vPmgIrRSfzIHBqAjudmqgFCJuWuU4HDR7ack …
For sure- the issue is masks aren’t available to purchase in the quantity needed. People are hand-making them because there aren’t any to buy, or even using bandanas. But for frontline workers those are not enough.

as a front line worker, this is management problem to resolve. i will not risk my life nor risk the lives of all those patients to be infected. unfortunately, there will be workers who will work because of financial necessity. so heart breaking of a situation.

I’d argue it’s the federal govs prob to resolve too. They should have taken this much more seriously months ago and increased production of supplies. Unfortunately we are seeing supplies and equipment being sent and sold to other countries for profit, risking lives here.
