i have a deaf sister. she wears a cochlear implant. would it take a longer time to get a surgery, or is that just a myth? because getting a late surgery can mean harder hearing.

We already have long lines. Bigger wallets are prioritized. In single payer urgent procedures are prioritized and cochlear implant certainly falls into that category

My take: it’s not about what people want. It’s about what they feel like they can expect. Decades of neoliberalism conditioned a critical mass of Dem primary voters to (wrongly) associate progressive policies like
#MedicareForAll w/ political risk. So they choose “electability.” -
In order to move the country left, we must convince enough voters not just that our policies are right, but also that the “normalcy” they consider safe is literally killing us and setting the planet on fire. Millennials and Gen Z get it.

If it's not M4A, something for people lacking coverage. Insane how we are the wealthiest nation in the world & yet so many have no coverage. Healthcare is a necessity. No matter how you spin it, we all need it. Preventative medicine has been proven to be beneficial to lower costs
