We also have to remember that: 1) not all jobs are in offices (we are seeing that right now as so many people work from home) 2) the FJG isn’t the government forcing anything on you, it’s a guarantee 3) if one job ends, it’s assurance another is waiting for you

The people losing their jobs right now are varies, but heavily concentrated in restaurants, bars, hotels, travel, advertising, entertainment. Would the Govt be involved in these industries? Are they going to run thousands of restaurants?

I understand FJG to mean the Govt is guaranteeing you some form of employment. Paid leave is compensation while away from work, for a variety of approved reasons, whether priv or pub. They work together or separate. Am I misunderstanding?
