We also have to remember that: 1) not all jobs are in offices (we are seeing that right now as so many people work from home) 2) the FJG isn’t the government forcing anything on you, it’s a guarantee 3) if one job ends, it’s assurance another is waiting for you

The people losing their jobs right now are varies, but heavily concentrated in restaurants, bars, hotels, travel, advertising, entertainment. Would the Govt be involved in these industries? Are they going to run thousands of restaurants?

Thanks for the response. Paid leave, if funded by the govt, would be very powerful to keep people and businesses whole. But isn't that different policy than FJG?
