How many innocent people have to die for us to realize that any profit-seeking entity should NOT be in charge of saving lives. Profit should be nowhere near health care. Profit should be nowhere near child protective services. Profit should be nowhere near social security.

No, I didn't. Thanks for the useful info. We need to require the same regulation for anyone (for-profit or not) that we require when gov't does social services. They'd all drop out & admit gov't can do it more cheaply. PS - I wrote a joke! (You must get a lot of this, sorry)

A socialist & a libertarian walk into a bar. The socialist protects the bar owner from the building falling down or catching fire, the staff from exploitation, & the patrons from poisonous drinks & rat droppings in the beer nuts. The libertarian doesn't leave a tip.
