Please talk me out of getting a cat. I want a little furry pal so bad but I still need some freedom to come and go from my flat as I please and I don’t want to put an animal through that 
Maybe try fostering and see if it matches with your lifestyle? In the meantime you’re saving a lil fur baby from being in a kill shelter or something by keeping them in your home
