I have private insurance through my husband and Medicare due to a disability. I’ve had cancer and I have diabetes.I have several problems with my stomach requiring many doctor visits. Without the private insurance, I would be fu**ed. Medicare pays very little/denying most claims

Medicare doesn’t cover eye or dental unless you buy extra http://insurance.It can be through the govt. or private but without it, you don’t have coverage. People need to understand Medicare doesn’t pay for everything like we’re being told. Don’t believe everything you hear.

Oh, and premium’s, yes. $400+ a year. Long term care, only at the worst long term health care facilities. Drug coverage, only in certain cases, I don’t get it I do through my private insurance. My point. If it sounds too good to be true.... it probably is.

How about alternative/ holistic/ natural healthcare modalities that are not currently covered by insurance?

You know, I vaguely recall Pete being asked about this. I think he said that communities could use wellness & belonging grants as they saw fit. Also, I'm sure these would be embraced under preventative care. Massage, chiro, DoM. I doubt the supplements industry/racket however.
