There is a limit to how much this would work but I’m all for the first part of this plan . We know it will work because we did it mostly before in the 1930s-1970s with great results. However opening borders does lower wages . I’m more for helping other nations develop
The federal government decides how much we spend, and we should try not to think about federal spending like household spending. If we spend more on making sure everyone has a job, it doesn’t mean we have to cut other federal spending. But we SHOULD cut spending on war.

Oh this is correct & I agree. But the country can’t possible employ everyone in America and the entire “third world” population without having such a national debt that even the Japanese would blush. Even with cutting the military budget.But if we don’t open borders could be done

It's less about trying to entice everyone to come here, and more about protecting the rights of those who *do* come here. The vast majority of people will never leave their home for sooo many reasons beyond economic ones. But if they do, they should be a part of a united labor.

Also you must admit that opening borders will not be well liked by many American citizens. And it’s American citizens who vote. If we want a social democratic or even socialist type policy for our country we do have to win elections and stay in power

into existence, thus has no budget constraint on organizing productive capacity it shares with the private sector, for the general welfare. The limit is our current capacity. At limits or bottlenecks, we can tax, adjust, or regulate to free up productive capacity. -
The limit is how much stuff exists in the country or persons the world. Also the federal reserve is part private. That will have to go. Nationalize it or abolish the fed. Stop charging the government money to print its own money
