I've been to a lot of different places around the world - India, UK, France, Ireland, Sweden, UAE - and none of them have free public transit. We need to maintain public transit systems and they definitely need government funding, but they don't need to be free.
We need to incentivize use of the greenest method possible. I believe we shouldn’t wait for other countries to take the lead all the time; what if we set an example on going green? I urge you to not think about federal budget like a household budget. 1/2
