I've spent a long time thinking about whether I would talk publicly about this. I'm running for Congress & I know people will judge me for it. But I've seen how much @GretaThunberg has helped the conversation around it & I've decided to be open about it too. I'm autistic.

Hey no kidding! How do you deal with the social anxiety? Feels like it'd be never-ending with all the contact you have to have with folks. Or at least that's what's kept me from doing anything like that
Id be lying if I said it’s easy, but campaigning without anxiety is hard too. I will say I practice self care and have had a lot of amazing therapy in life before this (a privilege) and without that or my amazing team, this would be so much harder.

Plus I have a background in standup so that has helped me a LOT with getting through my social anxiety in crowds or while giving speeches.
