Thank you to everyone who DMed me tips for my health insurance battle. As of today, I am insured again. It required countless hours of calls/emails, Twitter blasting UHC, and lastly a complaint to DFS (shortly after submitting is when everything was suddenly resolved...) THREAD
*Nobody* especially not people fighting serious illness and/or fighting to keep their loved ones alive, should be bothered with this garbage process. Nobody should be without coverage. We should have #SinglePayer #MedicareForAll, and private health insurance can f*** right off.
If you are battling with your private health insurance, tag me and I’ll share it. I’m over these games. My tip to you is to to start with a complaint to your state (unlike me). I can’t say with 100% certainty, but once I submitted mine, everything was resolved very quickly.
Im sorry you had to go through so much just to receive what should be a right. That being said im incredibly happy you finally got it!
