Firstly, *shame* on our government. Nobody should be hungry in this country of excess. Until a new wave of us elected, I urge you to to carry food, gloves, scarves, supplies that you can give to anyone in need.

Secondly, when she she sat down to eat, she pointed out that some of my food was Aldi brand. She mentioned that the European grocers care so much more about eliminating single-use plastics, and that her *number one* concern is that we are killing our earth.

Can we take a minute and think about that? She is struggling to survive, but she is more worried about our planet. And we have people who live in luxury who don’t care at all about their impact on the environment.

This also leads to my final thought. We are ALL in this together. We need to look out for each other and look out for our planet. It’s ALL of us vs capitalism. It’s ALL of us vs those who seek to uphold the status quo that will kill us all.
