I tried to push through it but this is inhumane. After dealing w/ mold, lead, leaks, roaches, rats, & floods for the past few YEARS, my parents, siblings, & I are sick. emotionally & physically.

Absolutely horrifying! My team and I have been spending a lot of time meeting with our neighbors in NYCHA communities and we have witnessed the following: 1) I’m working individually with 3 people who have requested transfers for urgent reasons who have gone 100% ignored
2) elevators don’t work or go to top floor in QBP, causing seniors and people with disabilities to drag their walkers/oxygen tanks up flights of stairs 3) I had a severe allergic reaction to mold just from a short visit in someone’s home
4) leaks that have never been fixed that have ruined people’s belongings and worsened with time The list goes on! I am so sorry your family is experiencing this neglect and this is a failure of all levels of government involved.
